The real reasons you aren’t achieving your goals

We've all been there – setting goals, making plans, and then... nothing happens. We blame our lack of "motivation" or say "I'll do it when I have more time" or "when the right opportunity comes along."

But after years of procrastinating on writing my book (exciting news – it's finally happening!), I've discovered the true barriers to taking action:

1. ENERGY

Energy is the fuel for action. When you're burnt out, overwhelmed, or emotionally drained, taking action feels impossible.

What we label as "laziness" is often just depleted energy. And if you're a perfectionist, this creates a vicious cycle – the more you procrastinate, the more you beat yourself up, and the more exhausted you feel.

2. RESOURCEFULNESS

Sometimes what's holding you back isn't motivation but know-how. You might have everything it takes to achieve your goal, but lack the specific resources or expertise to navigate all the moving parts.
