What it means to speak your truth
There's a huge difference between speaking with confidence and speaking your truth.
I learned this the hard way about 10 years ago when I was a confident TV news reporter by day, but barely had a voice in my own home. (SPOILER: I share this story in my book Voiceprint and in episode 257 of That Voice Podcast).
What speaking your truth means:
1/ Authenticity: Letting your voice carry your authentic self, your values, your stories, your feelings - without disguise, without dilution, without apology.
2/ Alignment: Speaking in alignment with what's real and alive for you, not what others expect or demand.
3/ Energy: When you speak your truth, it resonates. People don't just hear your message - they feel it - and you feel the weight lift off your chest.
What truth in you is calling to be spoken?
