How to simplify your message (and why your voice matters)
When your message is muddled, your story gets lost. When people can't follow your thread, they miss the impact you're trying to make.
Here are 3 ways to bring your message back to clarity:
1/ Write your coffee table quote book
Each page has a single quote, maximum 2 lines. Here are my examples: "Your voice matters" or "When you speak, you leave a unique voiceprint".
These become your soundbites - the phrases that grab attention and get to your point fast.
What quotes would fill your book?
2/ Zoom in to stand out
Having too much in your message often means people hear nothing. So, zoom in on the core of what you do.
3/ Speak it out loud
The best way to simplify your message is to sound it out. Get on social media, jump on podcasts, talk in the shower - as words tumble out of your mouth, you'll hear what works and what's clunky.
Your voice deserves to be heard. Your story needs to be shared. Don't let the pursuit of perfect messaging keep you silent.
